Tendergreen Bean Improved is an Open-pollinated, HEIRLOOM vareity with 52 days maturity. 20″H upright vines with dark green leaves, produce 5½-6″L pods that are round, meaty, tender and stringless with a rich flavor. Set well off the ground. Early, very productive. Dark purple seed mottled with tan. Heat tolerant. Tendergreen Bean Improved is used in Canning, Freezing, Fresh Markets, Home Gardens, Processing (BCMV). Nitrogen-fixer in the soil – chop up plant and work it back into the soil. Approximately 70 seeds per ounce or 1,260 seeds per pound.
