Knight Pea is an open-pollinated, heirloom that matures in 62 days. Largest pod, highest yielding pea in the early maturing class. Classic fresh market pea. Short 2’H vines produce 4″L sweet pods with up to 10 peas. No staking needed. Knight Pea is an improved strain of ‘Progress.’ Excellent choice for canning and freezing. Resistant: Bean Yellow Mosaic Virus, Common Wilt, Powdery Mildew, Pea Enation Mosaic Virus. Approximately 130 seeds per ounce or 2,080 seeds per pound.
