Stowells Evergreen Corn is an open-pollinated, heirloom with maturity of 98 days. Regarded as the “King of All White Sweet Corn Varieties!” This is among the oldest sweet corns that are still in production, predating 1949. Large 8-9″L ears boast plump, sweet, white tender kernels in 16-18 rows. 8’H stalks. Stowells Evergreen Corn matures slowly over a long period, hence the name “evergreen”. Keeps longer than most corns which makes it one of the best heirloom varieties for fresh markets, canning,freezing, and garnished with butter for dinner! Approximately 250 seeds per ounce or 4,000 seeds per pound
